- Our history goes back a full ten years to the late 1990's when our founder began privately tutoring math students at San Diego State University. After many years in San Diego, he moved to Las Vegas and continued providing home tutoring for math, chemistry and physics students. What began as a sideline source of income soon turned into full time work, and eventually his schedule was so full he had to refer students to friends who also tutored mathematics. In 2003 he turned it into a business and launched AwesomeTutors.com to provide home tutoring for a wide variety of K-12 subjects. The following year we became 2trs.com, LLC and today we continue to provide the same high quality tutoring services for most all academic subjects and grade levels. All tutors are still personally evaluated, skills tested, and have been subjected to a background check. We pride ourselves on personal service, good business ethics, and most importantly, a quality education for our students.
